The SILEO Eurocluster project has launched an exciting new opportunity for European lighting and furniture SMEs, offering them a unique platform to showcase their achievements in the green and digital transition through video storytelling.

Aimed at boosting the visibility and international appeal of SMEs, the SILEO Consortium is introducing the “Best Company Storytelling Video Contest”. The contest invites SMEs to create compelling storytelling videos that highlight:

• The green and digital transitions undertaken by their businesses.
• Success stories of new or improved products, services, or processes achieved through the use of advanced technologies or circular solutions.

By participating in the SILEO Contest, companies will have the chance to showcase how they’ve embraced sustainable practices and cutting-edge technologies – while being inspired/supported by the activities provided by the SILEO Eurocluster project.

Participation is open to all European lighting and furniture SMEs. The submission process is simple:

1. Create a Storytelling Video: Supporting materials, including tutorials and guides (Story-telling Master for SMEs), are available on the SILEO Submission Portal.
2. Submit your Application: Videos can be submitted via the SILEO Submission Portal: https://clustersubmissionplatform.eu/eurocluster_post/sileo-open-call-story-telling/ 
3. Deadline: Ensure your video is submitted before the contest deadline, on 13 December 2024 at 17:00 CET.

The top three storytelling videos will be selected by a panel of experts from the SILEO Jury, with the following cash prizes:

• Gold Storytelling: € 5,000 (1° prize)
• Silver Storytelling: € 3,000 (2° prize)
• Bronze Storytelling: € 2,000 (3° prize)

The winning SMEs will have the unique opportunity to present their success stories at the SILEO Official Award Ceremony during the Salone del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair) in Milan (Italy) in April 2025.

Finalists who do not win one of the top three awards may still have the opportunity to attend the SILEO Official Award Ceremony, as the SILEO Consortium reserves the right to provide travel vouchers (up to €500) to support the participation of 10-15 finalists.
