TRAINING TO FOSTER THE ADOPTION OF BD & AI TECHNIQUES. ONLINE WEBINAR TO RAISE AWARENESS ON TOPICS RELATED TO TECHNIQUES, WITH AN INTRODUCTORY APPROACH.
A 3-hour introductory webinar to describe which techniques and technologies are underlying the domain of artificial intelligence that could promote potential applications in industrial companies (lighting and furniture):
- What is Big Data? Which technologies facilitate the expansion of this discipline
What is artificial intelligence? Which statistical techniques facilitate its promotion
What types of AI are becoming relevant? Machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, supervised and unsupervised, …
What strategy should be identified to promote the adoption of artificial intelligence? Adopt a “data-driven” culture to promote the adoption of AI techniques
Where to apply them in the company? Distinguish different types of AI and their applications and implications in different scenarios:
Product design: What AI features are included in the product? => new “AI product features”, i.e. control, customization, etc… - Manufacturing process: What AI capabilities do they include in the process (control and automation)?
- Sales and post-sales activities: Which AI product features provide a new business and service model? New maintenance models, results such as energy efficiency, lighting efficiency and well-being efficiency
MEET THE SPEAKERS:
Elisenda Martí: Technical Engineer in Industrial Design, Design and Development of Industrial Products at the ELISAVA School of Design. Elisenda has a Master in Plastics and Components Engineering, Design and Production of Industrial Plastic Products from the Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya and the Fundació ASCAMM, and an Executive Master in Big Data Science from the International University of Catalonia. She is currently co-coordinator of the Executive Master in Advanced Analytics and Data Science at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya.
Carlos Cosials: Computer engineer at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). Carlos holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) from EADA Business School, a postgraduate diploma in Supply Demand Chain from Esade and training in Design Management and Gamification. He is currently Industry 4.0 Manager at Integral Innovation Experts, a business and operational consultancy company for the implementation of Industry 4.0 enabling solutions.
